Passengers were trapped, power lines were felled and the road was closed after a van collision in Burtonsville Tuesday, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue said.
Fire and Rescue responded to reports of an overturned vehicle collision at the 3400 block of Spencerville Road about 1:45 p.m.
They arrived at the scene to find a van overturned and three adults and children trapped inside. Rescue units extricated all three victims.
Power lines were also down. BG&E has been called to assess power line damage.
Spencerville remained closed as of 4 p.m.
