Paving for the Beltway Express Lanes Project in Fairfax County, Va., means overnight lane closures.
Starting at 9:30 p.m. Monday, crews will begin shutting down all the Outer Loop lanes of I-495 South at the Springfield Interchange. Exit 57-B, which leads to I-95/395, will also be closed.
Traffic on the Beltway will be directed to Exit 57-A, I-95 South to Exit 166-B, Fairfax County Parkway South. There will be signs directing drivers back to I-495 East.
Work will be wrapped up for the Tuesday morning commute. Crews will repeat the closures again on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
