Crews are working to repair a water main break that sent water shooting into the air Friday morning.
King Street was closed in both directions at Park Center Drive and reopened around 8:30 a.m. However, traffic is heavy in the area, and Park Center Drive remains closed as crews continue to repair the 12-inch main.
The break is located near the on-ramps for Interstate 395. The southbound ramp to King Street from I-395 was closed earlier Friday.
Repairs should take six to eight hours to complete.
The water main break is also affecting bus route in the area. The DASH AT6 is experiencing delays.The AT6 will miss all stops on Hampton Drive, Ford Avenue and Park Center Drive. Buses will use Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street.
Riders should allow extra time for their morning commute.
