Kiehl's -- the maker of yummy, all-natural hair and bath products (not to mention cleansers, toners, sunscreen, OK, you get the point) -- is stepping up its efforts to in enviro-friendliness.
Stephen Ostrosky, manager of the Georgetown location at 3110 M St. NW, tells us the retailer has kicked off a container-recycling program to get you to bring back your used bottles, jars and tubes. They won't end up in a landfill, and you get a present for it.
Get a notch in your punch card for each Kiehl's empty you bring back to any free-standing Kiehl's store. Here's the rewards system:
- Three punches: a free Lip Balm #1
- Five punches: a free travel-size product of your choice (up to $9)
- 10 punches: a free product of your choice (up to $25)
