Rain, Rain, We Don't Care

Opening Day of the Ballston Arts & Crafts Fest is on, no matter what

Tomorrow's scheduled Opening Day for the Ballston Arts & Crafts Festival is a go: "So, I know what the weatherman has forecasted, but I say phooey! The Market is on rain or shine--and I really believe it's going to shine," reports the fest's blog.

We're really not gonna mess with anyone who says things like "phooey." (No, really -- did you see Kathy Bates in "Misery"?)

So unless it's a torrential downpour -- in which case, call (202) 536-9714 to whine (or ask for an update, whatever) -- get ready to browse products from vendors such as BoxBoy Demented Decoupage (our fave from his old Eastern Market Days), Herban Lifestyles and really, really weird puppets -- no, really. You'll be seeing them in your sleep. Don't say we didn't warn you.
