Thursday night, trendy boutique Ginger (7114 Bethesda Lane, Bethesda) is hosting a summer party of chick lit, jewelry, cocktails and other appropriately pink/fuzzy/sparkly girlness.
From 6-8 p.m., browse the store's styles and check out a book signing for "Up for Renewal." The book follows author Cathy Alter, who -- upon finding her life in shambles -- decided on a whim to follow ALL the advice she read in women's magazines for a year.
While figuring out whether life according to the glossies is all it's cracked up to be, enjoy a special fall preview as Suzanne Somersall premieres her Barcelona collection, and take 15 percent off the Somersall Starlette collection.
