Washington Consumers' Checkbook's annual check on grocery store prices found that Bottom Dollar is the cheapest supermarket, with prices 17 percent cheaper than Giant of Safeway.
Following Bottom Dollar were Wegmans, Shoppers Food Warehouse and Bloom. Next came Food Lion, Giant, Harris Teeter and Safeway.
