MC Rove in action.
It's a sad day in D.C. as we learn that former Bush deputy chief of staff Karl Rove is saying goodbye to the District and is going to spend most of his time in Texas or Florida.
But he has one more important piece of business to attend to in D.C. No, it's not making a curtain call as dancin' MC Rove at Fur. He's gotta unload his five-bedroom, 4.5-bath Federal-style home in Northwest.
So if you've got an extra $1.6 million handy, the Weaver Terrace love shack could be yours.
According to Trulia.com, the home is described as an "ideally located 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bathroom Federal with grand entertaining spaces, main floor Family Room, spectacular Living Room w/ beautiful built-ins, a wonderful Library, sunny Kitchen w/ brand new appliances and sep. Breakfast Room, formal Dining Room, incredible Master Suite, private rear patio, expansive yard, and Garage Parking."
That sounds all well and good, but all we have to say is "Karl, what's up with the floral couches?" If you want to see what we mean, check out pictures of the pad by clicking here.
And if you're wondering, our friends at Zillow say Rove purchased his home for $799,000 back in 2001.
