Westend Bistro: Dining at the Pass

Prepare for a more romantic evening for two. The Westend Bistro is spicing up dining out with an interactive dining concept which promises to provide, among other things, a much more intimate dining experience.

Dining at the Pass offers couples of two -- by reservation only -- the opportunity to dine at the open window separating the Westend's kitchen from the dining area. Patrons can place their order directly with Chef de Cuisine Joe Palma and watch as their delicousies come to life.

Don't expect formality at this chef's table, Dining at the Pass allows guests to order from Westend Bistro's full menu in an informal and interactive setting. Have a question about which ingredients are used in your favorite meal? Just ask the chefs yourself! The comfortable atmosphere allows for open communication between the chefs and the guests.

Martha Miller, publicist for the Westend Bistro, said this experience is a price friendly alternative to your traditional chef's table.

"It allows you to get up close to the process of the kitchen. For people who have a curiousity about what it's like behind the scenes at a restaurant, this is a good opportunity for them," Miller said.

"We are tremendously excited to offer this experience to our guests and welcome them a little farther into our world as cooks," Palma said.
