DC's ‘Best Coffeehouse' Is Reproducing

Filter in Dupont Circle, City Paper's pick for D.C.'s Best Coffeehouse 2011 is planning to open a second location in Foggy Bottom.

Neighborhood blog Prince of Petworth has the scoop, if not the exact location: "somewhere around 19th and I St. N.W." is all the folks at the 20th Street java joint would divulge about the expansion plan.

Owner Rasheed Jabr previously mentioned his intention to open "another location or two" in conversations with former Young & Hungry contributor Michael Grass. Expect the World Bank area's first "flat white" (the puny Aussie version of the double latte) to be poured within the next four to six months.
