P St. Whole Foods to Partially Ignore Snow-Fearful Masses
Because staff meetings are more important than snowstorms
SAN FRANCISCO - FEBRUARY 22: The Whole Foods logo adorns a cardboard box at a Whole Foods Market February 22, 2007 in San Francisco, California. Whole Foods Market Inc. announced that it plans to purchase Wild Oats Market Inc. for an estimated $565 million in hopes of competing with larger food chains that have started to introduce organic and prepared foods to their inventories. Hoping to grab some last-minute organic grub to tide you through the next snopocalypse? If you're thinking of dropping by the Whole Foods on P Street NW after 9:30 p.m., fugheddaboutit.
That's when the store is closing, instead of at its usual 10:30 p.m. time, due to an ill-timed staff meeting, DCist reports.
What?! How could they abandon us like this? Nnnnoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
O.K. We're done panicking now. Besides, we've got other (cheaper) options, like your competitor, Trader Joe's on 25th Street NW... or even far, far away Wegman's.
Take that, P Street Whole Foods!
