Reston Town Center Openings:
Reston Town Center is shaping up to be the go-to place for a lazy weekend of shopping and eating. Three new nationally successful restaurants are opening up in the center, accoring to Fairfax Times.
Yogen Fruz is frozen yogurt on a health kick. This Canadian based company gives you the choice of low-fat, non-fat, or non-fat no sugar added frozen yogurt, which they mix up in a unique blending machine with your choice of fruit. You can also do things the old-fashioned way and simply top your yogurt with one of their 18 toppings. Since they've got over 1,100 locations in 20 countries, they must be on to something. Look for the Yogen Fruz opening in March at 1826 Discovery Street.
Chipotle, which has popped up all around the District, is bringing its version of quick Mexican to Reston Town Center as well. It'll be giving the Potbelly's across the street a run for its money in attracting people looking for a fast, cheap lunch. The location should open around late Spring at 11913 Freedom Drive.
If you're looking for a higher-end lunch, you can stop by the Marvelous Market when it opens on 1820 Discovery Street in April. They specialize in carry-out, with artisan cheeses and gourmet spreads. They also offer creative sandwiches, like the Hudson Valley, with apples and brie, and the Marvelous Italian, which is focused around imported sopressata.
