Eat, Drink, Groove at Taste of Georgetown

Taste of Georgetown Time!

Look, sweater season is coming. And we mean nice, bulky, drape-y... forgiving sweaters. So if you happen to overindulge at this weekend's food fest, who's gonna know?

Taste of Georgetown is Saturday, Oct. 9, at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue N.W. and M Street, featuring almost 60 dishes to sample, plus wine pairings and music from Blues Alley.

Individual tasting tickets are $5, or get five for $20. Redeem them for tastes at booths run by participating restos, including 1789, Baked & Wired, Filomena and Mie N Yu. Swing by the wine tasting pavilion, too. You can buy tickets online, or the day of the event in the Eagle Bank parking lot (11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.). The fest itself runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
