All wine lovers (so, does that just mean "everybody"?), here's one for you. If you're tired of grabbing the same bottle from the shelf week after week, check out the first annual Mediterranean Wines Festival (1526 New Hampshire Ave. N.W.) tonight. Tasters will get the chance to enjoy more than 30 wines from 11 different countries.

Divine wines from Spain, France, Italy and more are all represented at the fest. As an added bonus, with glass in hand, take a class like Olive Oil (6-6:45 p.m.) or From Romans to Americans (7-7:45 p.m.). Capital Cooking's Lauren deSantis will host Bringing the Mediterranean Diet to your Plate," a class on how to use olive oil, wine, and herbs in cooking at (8-8:45 p.m.). Your ticket ($69) includes admission to the fest, plus one class.

The fest will also dish out Mediterranean mezzes including grape leaves, falafel, spanakopita and hummus (yum). The festival runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
