DIY Wine: Stomp Your Own Grapes

Coming Right Up: Sugarloaf Grape Stomp

It's not quite in the neighborhood, but if you want to drive a couple hours to stomp grapes, we're not going to judge.

The Sugarloaf Grape Stomp runs this weekend and next, from noon to 5 p.m. each day. Join the grape stomping competition -- you'll win prizes if you're the talented shining star who stomps the most juice.

You'll also find wine tastings, vineyard tours, live music and a petting zoo for all ages, which includes a hedgehog, alpaca and 24" miniature horse. And come on, the miniature horse alone is worth the drive!

Online advance tickets are $15; tickets $20. Admission includes tastings and a souvenir glass. Bring chairs or blankets -- you'll wanna have a good place to find while you try to scrub the grape bits off your feet.

Just whatever you do, don't let this happen to you:
