Beer, Tattoos and Pizza: Sounds Mighty Good to Us

We hope you're more sober than she looks when you get your next tattoo.
What do you get when you combine beer, a tattoo parlor and heaps of pizza? Well, normally it would be a morning consisting of a splitting headache, a churning stomach and a frantic Google search for "tattoo removal."
However, thanks to Bierra Paradiso (3282 M St. N.W.), Jinx Proof and Three Floyds Brewery, you can combine all these elements regret-free tonight, July 30 at 6 p.m.
The occasion is a party for the release of Three Floyds Brewery new pilsner "Jinx Proof," brewed in honor of the tattoo parlor. Yeah, it's kind of a secret that alcohol and tattoos don't go well together.
Of course the snobbiest of beer snobs know that Three Floyds Brewery is a microbrewery based in Indiana, and with few exceptions only distributes its wares in its home state and Illinois.
Guests at the event will have the opportunity to enjoy the new pilsner ($5), not to mention those squid ink pies ($12). Tattoo pizza? Sounds delicious -- and not toxic at all. Yep. Plus, while you're there, enter a raffle for a $300 gift certificate to Jinx Proof.
A note of warning, though: If you should happen to win the raffle for the gift certificate do yourself a favor and wait until the beer wears off before cashing it in.
