Got a strange little wakeup call this morning, huh? Now a couple of local businesses are offering deals to, um, celebrate(?) D.C.'s strongest earthquake in recorded history.

The Aftershock cocktail is available at Westend Bistro (1190 22nd St. N.W.) for $3.60 -- yes, the price corresponds with our quake's magnitude. The cocktail consists of tequila, pineapple juice, simple syrup, a splash of orange juice -- and muddled jalapeno. You have all weekend to try it.

Meanwhile, the four local outposts of BGR (Dupont, Bethesda, Alexandria and Arlington) are "shaking things up" with half-price milkshakes. Choose from double chocolate, vanilla bean, strawberry or peach.
