Ben’s Chili Bowl is sponsoring a fundraiser tonight, from 6-9 p.m. And even if you don't have a lot of money, you can still go.
That's right. The event at 605 Q Street, NW, is a fundraiser for The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School, who are raising money for a place to teach their students. Ben's is providing the half smokes, chili, cheese, and more. There will also be vegetarian options and other delights, WeLoveDC reports.
The suggested donation is $20. "Brokeass? Throw us $5 or a six pack and they’ll call it even," according to WeLoveDC.
