24/7 Restaurant Opening in Downtown D.C.

The Hamilton will offer another late night dining option

A new restaurant opening Sunday night will be a new option for late-night eats, and it’s not just a diner or another Jumbo Slice (although, really, who doesn't love Jumbo Slice every now and then?).

The Hamilton will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The 1,000-seat restaurant is the 14th for the Clyde’s Restaurant Group. It’s located at 14th and F streets, the former site of a Borders Books and, long ago, Garfinckels’s department store.

The Hamilton will employ 320 people and has a performance lounge for live entertainment and special concerts.

New condos, retail stores and late-night workers in the downtown area helped provide the incentive for the new space, restaurant officials said.
