Monkey See Monkey Do: Sexy Halloween Costumes

More Photos and Videos

If you're forgoing this year's Harvest Party for actual Halloween festivities, you're going to need a costume. And there's no better time to get one than this weekend at the Washington National Opera's one-of-a-kind costume sale in Takoma Park.

The sale features more than a thousand costumes ranging from La Boheme to historical military costumes and even the Knights of the Holy Grail. Silly English kniggets...

This will be the first National Opera costume sale in six years, so there should be plenty of high-quality costumes to go around. It's also a great opportunity to poke around the closets of some very talented designers to see how they create such impressive costumes.

What's even better is the costume studio staff will help shoppers pick out the best costume to fit your personality and party needs.

Prices begin at $2, but most complete costumes range from $50 to $200, according to the WNO.

Details are below:

Oct. 17-18, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Washington National Opera Takoma Studio
Rehearsal Room C (3rd Floor)
6925 Willow St. NW
