Barack Obama is celebrating with Michelle, the Clinton couple, Beyonce -- and wait a sec, George W is in on the fun? Good thing they're all made of wax in this case; the political sparks won't be flying. 'Cause if they did, our party-goers would melt anyway.
The Oval Office at Madame Tussauds (1001 F St. N.W.) celebrates Obama’s 48th birthday today until 5 p.m. by decking out related wax sculptures in party hats and adorning the fake Oval Office -- which we do not believe is made out of wax -- with bunches of balloons.
Georgetown Cupcake has donated Obama-themed cupcakes for the party, because obviously it wouldn't be a party in this town ithout cupcakes. Parties That Pop is decking the place out in balloon bouquets, fantasy clouds and a nine-foot balloon column.
Working downtown? Go get your pic taken with the fake president and his party guests during your most ridiculous coffeebreak ever.
