TenPenh (1001 Pennsylvania Ave. NW) has debuted a new Double Happy Hour that's seriously blowing our minds. We had no idea that the joy of a happy hour could be multiplied. But it has been. Multiplied by two. Yep.
Weekdays, happy hour/s run from 3-6 p.m. AND(!!!) from 9:30 p.m. to closing. Another happy hour runs on Sunday from 5:30 p.m.-closing. We have always sort of wondered about the necessity of happy hour on Sunday, which is already a pretty happy day.
Regardless, cocktails, all draft beers and select wines are $5. Even better, for the same price, you can also score some frillier beverages, including Lychee Lemonade and Asian Mojitos.
Appetizers for $5 include chili-brined chicken wings, lobster rangoons and duck spring rolls with a spiced mango dip.
Happy hour specials are exclusive to the bar and lounge, but for that deal, we'll sit wherever they tell us.
