Former "Real Housewives of D.C." star Michaele Salahi claims she has a stalker and the person is making death threats.
The claim, first reported by TMZ, was confirmed by the Salahis' PR staff, which added that there is an "ongoing investigation with the Warren County Sheriff's office since last year, and the LAPD is also involved."
According to TMZ, the Salahis say that the man in question called the Sheriff's Department in Fauquier County, Va., falsely claiming Tareq broke into a winery co-owned by Tareq's family.
Deputies said they found no evidence of a break-in, but were called back when Tareq and Michaele found out the call came from the alleged stalker, according to TMZ.
The Salahis filed a police report and the case is now under investigation, TMZ reported, adding that the couple is also seeking to have a protective order put into place.
