There's no need to hit the books for Wednesday's trivia smackdown. Cramming is so college, anyway.
After receiving a few, er, "courtesy laughs" for the way-too-many bar jokes you cracked this weekend, you must think you're pretty clever, right? Well, there's only one way to be sure.
Test your wits this Wednesday, at DC Improv's Happy Hour Trivia Night (1140 Connecticut Ave. NW). Drinks and a full menu will be available throughout the night, and discounted bar tabs and free chips and salsa will be awarded to the top three teams.
Entry is free, but if you want to participate, e-mail or call DC Improv before Wednesday to sign up. Teams are recommended, but you can also do the solo thing and hope to find some teammates before the rounds start. The event kicks off at 7 p.m., but doors open at 6:30, and if you don’t arrive by 6:45, your seats will be released to the stand-by line. Yeah, this event is that popular.
And after tirelessly picking your brain for 90 minutes, you can then relax and let the professional comedians entertain you. Tickets can be purchased at the event or on DC Improv's Web site.
