"Harvest of Shame"

"Harvest Of Shame." (55 min.) It was the day after Thanksgiving in 1960 when CBS Reports first aired the documentary series "Harvest Of Shame," an unvarnished look at the plight of migrant farm workers in the U.S. It was also the last major report by journalistic icon Edward R. Murrow. It airs for free at 7 p.m. Wedenesday at the National Archives.

"The Age of Stupid." (93 min.) Flash forward to the year 2055. The world is almost uninhabitable. Oscar-nominated actor Pete Postlethwaite is a man living alone looking at old footage of 2008 and wondering why the people of earth didn't do something back then to stop the devastation. At 7 p.m. at the Georgetown University Inter-Cultural Center Auditorium Main Campus. Free.
