Georgetown: Now Located in Northeast

Google Maps

We have some strange news for you today.

Everyone who assumed that M Street Northwest was actually located... in Northwest? Well, life is just full of surprises, isn't it?

Google Maps has M Street Northeast running the entire length of the city, including the roughly four and a half miles of street west of N. Capitol Street.

M Street in Georgetown? Northeast. M Street just south of Dupont Circle? Northeast! M Street at the Convention Center? Yep, Northeast.

We bet Pierre L'Enfant never saw this coming.
