It isn't every day that you can get a couple of ambassadors to cook for you.
While there are likely to be a few people in DC that have experienced the "world-class talents" of an embassy chef, the Embassy Chef Challenge 2010 definitely isn't an everyday event. Not with chefs from Belgium, Bahrain, Hungary, Israel, the Republic of Korea, Morocco, Nepal, Ghana, the state of Qatar and the Republic of Panama.
And we can't forget his Excellency Vladimir Petrovic, from the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, and his Excellency Constancio Pinto, Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste, who -- along with the official embassy chefs -- will also be judged by a panel which includes food and travel editor Joe Yonan of the Washington Post, Restaurant Nora's Chef Nora Pouillon and Blue Ridge Restaurant's chef and sustainable seafood advocate Barton Seaver.
Your vote counts too. While the judges choose Embassy Chef 2010, event patrons pick the winner of the People's Choice Award.
