Georgetown restaurants and wineries will offer samples of their signature treats.

It's back! Taste of Georgetown is going down on Sat., Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wisconsin Avenue and M St. N.W. One of the biggest and most popular food fests in D.C., roughly 25 of the District’s most distinguished restaurants will be serving sample portions of their signature dishes.

You can purchase tasting tickets at the Eagle Bank parking lot from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per tasting, or five for $20. Participating restos include Dean & Deluca, Clyde's, Georgetown Cupcake and Morton's the Steakhouse, just to name a few.

What’s a food fest without the drinks? Local wineries will set up shop at the Wine Pavilion, located on the lawn of Grace Church. With Oktoberfest abuzz, don’t forget about the German beers that will also be featured.

Proceeds of Taste of Georgetown will benefit the homeless, providing shelter and meals through the Georgetown Ministry Center.
