Going green? Eh, it's been done. Palace of Wonders (1210 H St. N.E.) is going red -- and black. The popular H Street spot is merging with next-door neighbor The Red and The Black (1212 H St. N.E.). The new Red Palace will open Oct. 15, but both are closing down until then.

But Wednesday night's Grand Finale show at the Palace of Wonders wasn't technically your last chance -- they've got a schedule through Saturday, Oct. 2. Tonight, you can catch the League of Mutants GoodBye Kiss Show (9 p.m.; $10), and hey, you can't beat the name. Says the Palace: "Allow these striking mutants hypnotize you, intrigue you, dazzle you as they engage you in fire, dance and seduction."

Friday night, DJ Mellie Mel and special guest Chris Newton will spin during Temptation: Just Dance (9 p.m.; no cover). Saturday, the actual last night, you'll find Music Is Bulletproof (9 p.m.), an anniversary celebration of DJ Key-K surviving a violent crime in the H Street corridor. While there's no cover charge, DJ Key-K is asking for a suggested donation of $5 or more for the Victims of Violence Fund.
