Dismemberment Plan Announces a Pair of Shows

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We could get used to this: Once again, beloved D.C. indie rockers The Dismemberment Plan are reuniting for some shows—their first since a string of club and festival dates last year. These newest shows are more intimate: Aug. 10 at Metro Gallery in Baltimore and Aug. 11 at Eyeclopes in Fredericksburg, Va. The latter show is a benefit for the DIY initiative Fredericksburg All Ages. The official announcement from D-Plan's Facebook:

We were talking this spring and decided it'd be fun to play a couple of small, sweaty summer shows like we used to do. So, we're playing one show in Baltimore, and another in Fredericksburg, VA, August 10th and 11th (respectively). Limit of TWO tickets per order, AND, you can only pick them up with your ID at the show (i.e. you can't buy them now, and sell them online later...make sure you know you can make it). A portion of the tickets are on sale NOW through the band, and the rest will go on sale Friday at 10am. See you there!

You can purchase those tickets right here.

But let me put this out there: A show in Baltimore? And a show in Fredericksburg the next day? Surely the band is considering swing back to D.C. a night after that. Sadly, by mid-August, it'll be too late for D-Plan to play Fort Reno.
