D.C.Shorts Is Kind, Rewinds

Be Kind, Rewind

Let’s face it: We’re human beings, and we’re prone to missing a thing or two. And we can't exactly put a “rewind” button on life.

Luckily, this week we're one step closer to that wish. D.C. Shorts Film Festival’s Rewind shares the best of D.C. Short’s films again.

The Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St. N.E.) is featuring genre blocks Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28 and 29, including animation, foreign, local, documentary and more. Highlighting the event is Luke Matheny’s “God of Love,” which has been nominated for an Academy Award in Best Live-Action Short Film.

The event will also boast music performances and events, as well as neighboring restaurant specials exclusive to those who participate. So take the step with mankind -- rewind, and see what you’ve been missing.
