DC Pools Extending Hours Again

Open late for Tuesday and Wednesday's extreme heat

We thought we beat the heat, but it turns out it was just taking a break.

The D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation is once again extending hours at many city pools due to expected high heat. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we could see highs around 98 and 99 degrees respectively.

Many pools are already open until 8 p.m., but others will be open until 8:30 or 9 p.m. on July 17 and 18. See the complete list here.
