DC Is Blinding Us With Science

Test-tube shots, or lab specimens? We're willing to find out the hard way.

We know, it’s not usually socially acceptable to show up to a one-year-old’s birthday party when you don’t know anyone there. But in the case of WeLoveDC.com, it’s totally fine. The popular DC lifestyle blog is celebrating its first year of existence tonight at The Science Club (1136 19th St. N.W.).

Let’s think about this: a room full of people who write a blog on everything important and fun going on in DC. Yeah, that miiiight be a good place to be if you enjoy fun and/or feeling important. Plus, the voluntary $5 donation at the door goes directly to Bread for the City. And since there are drink specials all night and the donation is tax-deductible, you might actually end up making money that evening. (Trust us; we're writers -- we get math.)

Plus, after all that socializing, important-ing and do-gooding, go make funny faces in their photobooth. If you think you don’t like photobooths, then you've either never been in one or had a really horrendous prom picture, in which case you are forgiven.

Either way, We Love DC is totally blinding us with science tonight. In a good way. And camera flashes. Possibly in a bad way.
