This year, you don't have to be alone on Valentine's Day. The Washington Animal Rescue league wants to connect you with your feline soul mate. They are holding an adoption party called "Catapalooza."
There will be free mimosas, cat-themed grab bags, and a raffle. One of the grand prizes is a year's supply of kitty litter, and that's nothing to sniff at.
And if you happen to fall for a four-legged party goer the rescue league has reduced the adoption fee to just $2.
The event is Sunday from Noon until 3P.M. The rescue league is located at 71 Oglethorpe Street in Northwest Washington.
The next NBC Washington PNC Bank Community Shred is scheduled for June 16, 2012.
