Look, you've gotta stick those visiting relatives somewhere, right? Travel website TripAdvisor.com revealed the best hotels in D.C. today, based on millions of user reviews.

The top three hotels are as follows:

  1. Hotel Palomar (2121 P St. N.W.)  -- Dupont Circle
  2. Sofitel Washington D.C. (806 15th St. N.W.) -- Downtown
  3. Hotel George (15 E St. N.W.) -- Capitol Hill

You can snap up a room at the Palomar for a mere $300 or so on a Friday night. Of course, if you want the Presidential Suite, you're going to have to fork over a cool $1,500.

The site also announced the winners of its 2011 Travelers' Choice awards. Local winners include the Alexandria B&B Morrison House (2nd place for Best Service) and Hotel Palomar (8th best luxury hotel).

Now you know what to do next time those pesky parents are in town. How could you possibly want to deny them the chance to stay at an award-winning hotel?
