Calling All Local Bands: Fort Reno Wants You

Submission period runs through March 16

Hey, local band members! Looking for a chance to get out of your parents' basement and step into the spotlight?

Fort Reno is gearing up for their summer concert series and they're accepting demos now through March 16.

The 40-years and counting Washington, D.C. tradition has been host to several bands from the area's indie rock scene, like Fugazi, Q and not U, Casper Bangs, The Sweater Set, and Canyon, to name a few.

Shows during the free summer concerts, which run from mid-June to mid-August, are held twice a week, starting at 7:15 p.m. through about 9:30 p.m., at Fort Reno Park, about two blocks north of the Tenleytown-AU Metro station. The perfect place to showcase your talent out in the open.
