They strum, they dance and they unleash vicious riffs onstage. They rock out with just their fingers hoping to become the 2010 US Air Guitar Champion.
The regional competition will be staged in D.C. this weekend. Think you got what it takes? You’ll have to wait until next year to compete because Saturday’s contest is full. But you can still hop down to the 9:30 Club and watch all the wannabes rage onstage.
The US Air Guitar Championship started in 2003. This year's national champion will compete in Oulu, Finland, for the world title.
Tickets for Saturday's competition are $20. Showtime is 8 p.m.
