Add Some Panache to your Night

The ample tapas offerings and creative cocktail concoctions of this tucked away Dupont restaurant and bar make Panache the perfect place to start your night.

The weekday happy hour, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the bar, gives you a chance to try out their specialty cocktails for a reduced price, as well as nibble on their more than filling tapas plates. The friendly and attentive bartenders know how to serve up an appropriately stiff drink, making the moderate price tag more bearable for those still not hauling in a hefty paycheck

The trendy lounge feel and warm low lighting draw a professional crowd, which makes Panache a good place for schmoozing and bringing professional contacts. The low-key yet polished decor has also helped the place become a  popular destination for birthday parties. Nothing too distracting, panache's general decor is set to create a relaxed mood, yet also easily ignored for those looking for a little sensory deprivation.

The transition from happy hour into Panache's nighttime scene is heralded by the notable increase in music volume. Friday and Saturday features DJ Childsplay, who spins top 40, hip-hop, house and rock from 10 p.m. - 3 a.m., which may explain why there's sometimes a $10 cover charge on weekend nights.

There is also another Panache location in McLean, Virginia, located at 1753 Pinnacle Drive.
