Can't wait for SoTG's epic return in a few weeks? Neither can we, but in the meantime, catch a free movie tonight at Rockville Town Square (100 Gibbs St., Rockville). Tonight's film, "The Dark Knight," is a bit darker than the typical movies shown (like "Marley and Me" and "Kung Fu Panda"), so be prepared to cover the kiddies' eyes every once in a while. 8:45 p.m.; free.

Think you've got the best iPod mixes in town? Take your tunes to Café Saint-Ex (1847 14th St. N.W.) tonight for their monthly iPod Jukebox Night. Throughout the evening, everyone can take turns (play nicely now) showing off their musicality with favorite songs, artists and even whole playlists. And if you're still rocking that retro Discman, we think this is your cue that the times have changed and investing in an iPod isn’t such a bad idea after all. 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m.; free.

If you're in the mood for some seriously impressive punk music (and aren't we all these days?), head to DC9 (1940 9th St. N.W.) and watch as Japandroids take over the stage tonight. The band's mixed styles and ear-splitting guitar will be complimented by two other underground groups, Slim Twig and Tennis System. 8:30 p.m.; $8.
