Reese Filming in Adams Morgan Tonight

Yo, Reese! Over here!

Whatever was still remotely edgy about Adams Morgan just floated away on a fluffy lavender cloud. We just heard straight from the film crew that Reese Witherspoon and company will be shooting "in Adams Morgan after the sun goes down" near Columbia Road.

Witherspoon is currently spending about 14 weeks in D.C. shooting the romantic comedy "How Do You Know?" with co-stars Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson, who was spotted noshing at Georgetown Cupcake two weeks ago.

Film crews shot some scenes at Nationals Park on June 12 with Witherspoon and Wilson. Some Nats season ticket holders got to serve as extras in the film. (They earned a "nominal fee" and free food.)

Plan to sneak around tonight's filming? Bring a trench coat and a camera with a zoom lens. Just our two cents. But don't say we told you.

Also, Georgetown Metropolitan reports that crews will be filming down at the Georgetown Waterfront all Wednesday afternoon: "Apparently it will involve fake rain, although with the weather as it's been, maybe they can forego the fake part."
