The Freddie Mac Foundation's Wednesday's Child program started in Washington, D.C., in 1992, a partnership with NBC4 and the Council of Governments. If you have room in your home and your heart for a child who is waiting for a permanent family, please call our adoption hotline at 1-88-TO-ADOPT-ME.
