If you are really excited about the switch to an all-digital broadcast, you don’t have to wait. Because stations are currently broadcasting in both analog and digital, DTV is available now.

You simply need a DTV receiver. You may also view multicast programming.

If you want to watch high definition programming, you will need a high definition monitor and set-top box, which are made for both high definition and digital programs.

Check out local listings to find out more about digital television available now. The FCC’s special website, www.dtv.gov, has more information on digital television, or call 1-888-225-5322 (TTY: 1-888-835-5322).

Don't put it off. Things in February are going to ... MORE >
  • Herb Wednesday, Dec 10 at 11:55 AM FLAG COMMENT I purchased a converter box and hooked it up but I did not get 6 & 10, all the rest came in really well. So I went out to Radio Shack and purchased a new antenna. I still do not get 6 & 10. I live in New Jersey about 30~40 miles from Philly. Am I now going to only have channel 3 and the others or what?
