Take A Swing At The Golf Driving Range And Simulator:
How good is your golf swing? You can put it to the test at the 2009 NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo.
A three-station high-tech driving range is equipped with radar devices that measure the speed and trajectory of the ball to calculate the distance traveled. Each player gets eight swings. After each drive, the distance is displayed at the tee area for the players, and on a large digital display for the spectators.
Indoor Golf Simulator: Try your luck on virtual world-famous golf holes from courses like Rancho Mirage and Princeville Hawaii. Be one the 5 people that are closest to the pin each day and win a $100 gift card from Sports Authority. The overall winner has a chance to win $10,000 in the Virtual Golf/Hole-in-One Contest!
Goal! Get Your Kicks On The Indoor Soccer Field:
D.C. United and Washington Freedom are teaming up to host the Expo Soccer Field. Ask questions, get an autograph, and get expert advice on your soccer skills!
Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2:
The hottest revolution and best-selling video game in the music game category with popular artists and smash hit songs runs on side-by-side dance pads with handle bars. It’s great interactive fun!
Scale The Rock-Climbing Wall:
Try out your rock climbing skills on the rock-climbing wall at the 2009 NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo.
Enjoy the fun and excitement of rock climbing at our 24-foot, 4-station climbing wall. Each station represents varying degrees of difficulty – from beginners to accomplished climbers and everyone in between!
The climbing wall is equipped with an auto-belay counterforce safety system and is always the tallest attraction on the show floor.

Alpine Ski Simulator
· Skiers experience the "rush" of speeding down the slopes with the wind whistling past them as they ski through the gates of challenging race courses. Three different courses test the skills of beginner, intermediate and expert skiers.
Snowboard Simulator
· Participants freeboard or gate race while performing numerous air tricks to the sound of rock and alternative music. Two downhill courses and two levels of difficulty provoide the snowboarder with four challenging options.
