  • Social Media Editor

A Social Media Editor at NBCWashington is responsible for executing and contributing to the social media strategy for the entire NBCWashington local media group -- including but not limited to news, web, sales and marketing. Basic requirements include:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an editor, writer or producer at a major news organization or blog that creates content under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of digital media technology, particularly social media networks and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree, journalism, political science or English preferred
