Danella Sealock is News4’s Traffic Reporter. Her reports can be seen weekdays during News4 Today and throughout the morning on NBC4.
A native Washingtonian, Sealock has also lived in both Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. Her many years in the Washington area have helped her learn to navigate our busy highways and byways.
After graduating from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Sealock moved to Manhattan to attend New York University. After graduation, she returned to Washington to start her career hosting a radio show on 93.9 KYS-FM. While there, she caught the eye of executives at Black Entertainment Television and launched her television career as an entertainment reporter. While at BET, she was featured on 106 & Park and hosted shows including The Black Carpet, Spring Bling and The BET Awards Pre Show.
In 2010, Sealock became co-host of The Big Tigger Morning Show on WPGC-FM, 95.5 and began her affiliation with NBC4 almost immediately as a contributor to NBC’s Daily Connection afternoon show.
In her current role, Sealock helps commuters all over the Washington region get to work regardless of how they commute. She continues to host special programs on BET and community-focused segments on NBC4.
