Danella Sealock is NBC Washington’s traffic reporter. Her reports can be seen weekdays throughout News4 Today between 4:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.
A native of our area, Danella grew up in Washington, D.C., and Prince George’s County, Md., and graduated from Springbrook High School. Her many years in the Washington area have helped her learn how to navigate our busy highways and byways.
After graduating from New York University, Danella returned to Washington to start her career hosting a radio show on 93.9 KYS-FM. Her voice caught the attention of executives at Black Entertainment Television. Her BET career consisted of hosting shows including "The Road Show," "The Black Carpet," an entertainment news magazine, and "The Pull Up," a music video show.
Danella has become a fixture on red carpets across the country, interviewing celebrities and showing off her unique style. She continues to host special programs on BET such as "The BET Awards Pre-Show" and "Spring Bling."
Danella returned to the Washington area in 2010 to join forces with Big Tigger on WPGC 95.5’s morning show and almost immediately started contributing to NBC Washington’s Daily Connection program.
As NBC Washington’s main traffic reporter, Danella helps commuters all over our area get to work in the morning.
