Apparently fame-mongering is not an addiction. At least not one that qualifies for VH1's "Celebrity Rehab."
Michaele Salahi has been booted from the fifth season of the show because she has no addiction, sources told TMZ. Which means she didn't belong there, just like she didn't belong in the owner's suite at the Super Bowl or at the November 2009 State Dinner at the White House or with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Alumni Association.
Over the weekend we got Tareq Salahi out in Los Angeles who told us that Michaele's only addiction was "probably to chocolate."
Last week, TMZ reported that the Salahis weren't done with reality, yet. While a second season of Bravo's "Real Housewives of D.C." hasn't been confirmed, the wannabe-celebs were reported to be appearing in the next season of "Celebrity Rehab," which follows celebrities who are trying to recover from addiction. No one said what addiction the Salahis were supposed to be recovering from.
A representative for Michaele Salahi said she was hoping to get treatment for "everything she's endured over the past year." In that case, getting kicked off a reality TV show may be just what the doctor ordered.
Tareq Salahi said it's possible his wife was fired for having multiple sclerosis and the Salahis could consider taking legal action.
