Kitten Killing Blamed on Video Game

Virginia man allegedly flies into rage after game is disconnected

We know people love their video games, but this is certainly taking the obsession way too far.

A Staunton, Va., man is facing charges of killing a kitten over his video game. The tiny feline apparently disconnected the game while the man was playing, sending him into a violent rage, according to newsleader.com.

Police say Bruce Jamar Walston, 21, threw his girlfriend’s kitten against a wall after the kitten disconnected the game, and he did it in front of the woman’s child.

Walston’s girlfriend called 911. Police have charged Walston with misdemeanor animal cruelty and disorderly conduct.

Police said Walston had a run-in with the law earlier this year when he allegedly assaulted someone with a vacuum cleaner.  He is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges related to that incident.
