A Pittsburgh woman has been jailed on charges she stole her dying neighbor's dog, then attacked two police officers who arrested her.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 57-year-old Gisele Paris, who was arraigned late Tuesday on charges including theft, aggravated assault and resisting arrest and sent to jail after she was unable to post bail.

Police believe Paris stole the dog from Boehler's yard about Thanksgiving. She allegedly took the dog to an animal hospital last month, but became belligerent and left when workers there recognized the dog as belonging to Boehler.
Police say Paris struck two officers who arrested her, and has refused to disclose the dog's whereabouts.
