In The Loop: Bucks Win NBA Championship, WFT's Schweitzer Is Ready for 2021

In The Loop: Bucks win title, WFT's Schweitzer ready for '21 originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

First up in our look around the sports world, the Milwaukee Bucks claimed their first NBA Championship in 50 years on Tuesday. Bucks' superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 50 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks with an iconic performance in the 105-98 Game 6 win over the Phoenix Suns.

So how do you celebrate being a national champ? You go to Chick-fil-A the morning after, trophies in hand, and order 50 chicken nuggets. Iconic.

Next, Washington Football Team offensive guard Wes Schweitzer is not messing around this offseason. He clearly has something special planned for year 6 in the league. Check this video out of him compressing not one, not two, not three, but FOUR 45-pound plates!

Lastly, Team USA's flag bearers have been chosen for Tokyo. WNBA star Sue Bird and MLB infielder Eddy Alvarez will have the honor of holding the American flag during the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
