Years ago when the Redskins went away for training camp in Carlisle, Pa., one of the things they looked forward to was the Welcome Home Luncheon -- an event that signified the end of training camp and gave them a chance to mingle with the fans.
The Skins don't go away to training camp any more thanks to Redskins Park, but they still have the luncheon. The 2009 edition was held Thursday at the Tysons Ritz-Carlton.
Hundreds of fans packed the place for a chance to meet the team, and to check out the latest in men's fashion, of course.
From Clinton Portis' shades and purple suit combo to Fred Smoot's smooth looks, the team was dressed for success. Fans would rather have that success come on Sundays this season in the stylish burgundy and gold, but we digress...
The defensive backs declared themselves the best-dressed on the team. It's hard to argue against them. Watch the video to check out some of the stylish action.
